RETURNS POLICY

At Shed of Threads we know how important it is to have the right fit for your moto gear, so we will do our very best to help you make the best decision on sizing before you purchase, but we understand sometimes the fit or colour may not be perfect for you so you can return it without hassle.

You are responsible for the postage cost involved with returns so please do double check measurements and colors before purchasing.

  • Any item can be refunded if it is returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • Item(s) must be in original condition, unworn, unsoiled and in original packaging with tags attached.
  • All goods will be fully inspected on return.
  • Refunds are automatically generated after being returned so then all you need to do is create a brand new order for the size or colour of the item that you want instead.
  • The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so make sure it’s packed up properly to prevent damage in transit and you keep the shipping receipt.
  • We will refund the amount you paid for the item, excluding any shipping that was paid.
  • We are not responsible for any items that may be returned to us by mistake.
  • Expenses associated with postage for returns are at the cost of the customer and shall not be refunded by Shed of Threads.
  • All sales of Sale Items are final.

 

Domestic Returns (within Australia)

  • Contact SOT via email at info@shedofthreads.com.au and notify us of your intended return including the order number.
  • Complete the returns form that was dispatched with your order and enclose it in your package.
  • To post the item(s), you will need to purchase a plastic satchel at your local post office.
  • It can take up to 7 working days for your return to arrive and we’ll send you an email to let you know once it has been received and your refund has been processed.
  • Once your refund has been processed, depending on your card issuer, it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to show in your account.
  • We try to accept all returns, but in the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition and not in the original packaging, we can at our discretion return the item to you with no refund.
  • Please note, SOT cannot be held liable for any items lost in transit, so hold onto that tracking number until you got the all clear from us.

 

International Returns (outside of Australia)

  • Contact SOT via email at info@shedofthreads.com.au and notify us of your intended return including the order number.
  • Complete the returns form that was dispatched with your order and enclose it in your package.
  • The shipping costs are not covered by SOT.  Any packages sent back to us must have a valid international tracking number.
  • Please state on that package that it is “for return”.
  • We recommend selling your item locally via sites such as Gumtree to save money returning it if it’s the wrong size or colour and reordering as we know shipping isn’t cheap.
  • We try to accept all returns, but in the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition and not in the original packaging, we can at our discretion decline a refund and re-shipping of the item back to you so please make sure the product is as it left use when you return it.
  • If it has been worn and isn’t in perfect condition, we suggest selling locally via various shopping platforms such as Gumtree.
  • Please note, SOT cannot be held liable for any items lost in transit, so hold onto that tracking number until you got the all clear from us

If you are still unsure of which size to purchase after looking through the sizing charts, please just email us at info@shedofthreads.com.au with your query and we will do our best to advise on that perfect fit.  We know that every persons body is different so when in doubt just ask.

If we happen to make a mistake and you are looking to return a faulty or incorrect item, please get in touch straight away so we can get this sorted for you.

SHIPPING POLICY

Domestic Shipping (within Australia)

  • Shipping within Australia is free for orders over $300
  • For orders less than $300 the charge for postage is $10
  • Returns within Australia are at your own cost, see our returns policy
  • Your purchase will typically arrive within 2-3 business days
  • Remote destinations can take a little longer to get to

International Shipping (outside of Australia)

  • International shipping available and prices quoted are for shipping from Australia
  • Shipping is at your own cost and prices are for Post International
  • Your package will typically arrive within 10-15 business days between metropolitan areas of major cities, more for more remote areas
  • International returns are at your own cost so we highly recommend being certain before purchase due to the cost of freight
  • Any import duties, taxes or other fees once it has left Australia are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer

 

Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Likewise customers are responsible for paying any additional customs or duties charges that may be incurred on their order. SOT will make every effort to deliver on time.

We shall not be held liable for delayed or lost shipment. Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts will be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery, or if incorrect details are provided during the checkout process.

When your order is shipped you will be sent an email confirmation which will include an order number and must be used when enquiring about your order.
